Ahmad Sadat is a businessman and investor, born in 1972 in Malang. The father of 4 children graduated from Universitas Brawijaya in 1995. He continued his dual degree postgraduate studies at the School of Business and Management (SBM) – ITB and Aalto University Finland with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2015.

He started his career as an Account Manager at Franklin Covey Indonesia (Dunamis Consulting) in 1995. After a 2-year career, in 1998, he was asked to return to his hometown in Malang to continue his family business, namely cowhide collectors, which his parents initiated H Sholeh Baidowi in 1968.

At the same time, the cowhide collection business was experiencing shocks because it faced the monetary crisis of 1998, and many cowhide collector businesses went out of business. During the situation, he did not give up on the case. Quickly and observantly, he saw business opportunities amid a crisis, namely by buying leather from other merchants and exporting it to European markets. The business brings many profits. This way, he can develop the family company to be more significant.

Not stopping there, in 2000, Sadat built a big business that runs in cow fattening, namely PT Agrisatwa Jaya Kencana. During the way, the company grew fast and had a capacity of 40.000 cows with 120.000 cows production capacity per year.

In 2008, Ahmad Sadat established PT Asia Intravesta. At that time, the company was founded as the legal entity of Ahmad Sadat. He invested without operating the business directly. In 2012 the company started recruiting teams for operational and investment management, creating Brand Asiavesta, an acronym for PT Asia Intrainvesta. Until 2018, Asiavesta invested in several companies, stock exchanges, startups, and various investments in the property sector.

In 2019, Asiavesta invested in Idea Indonesia. Asiavesta transformed Idea Indonesia into a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the stock code IDEA within two years. Along with the investment and restructuring process at Idea Indonesia, Asiavesta began redefining itself into Asiavesta Strategic Investment with the vision of becoming an investor that is highly relied on by investees and highly trusted by other investors. Asiavesta has a mission as an Investment holding that invests in established small/medium-sized companies, has a strong and unique business, tremendous growth and impact potential, and wants to transform into a corporation in an inorganic way. Asiavesta will be a strategic partner that helps restructure investee companies holistically so that they are ready to become large/large corporations and/or go public in less than three years.

Ahmad Sadat currently serves as President of Asiavesta Strategic Investment. He is committed to investing in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the hope that these investments can accelerate the Company’s growth, bring a significant impact to the company, and help Indonesia’s economic growth.
