Jakarta, August 7, 2023 – PT Hassana Boga Sejahtera Tbk (“Company”, IDX: NAYZ) an issuer that produces baby food under the Nayz brand managed to significantly increase its profitability performance in the second quarter of the 2023 period. Based on the consolidated financial statements for the period ending 30 In June 2023, the Company posted a net profit of Rp. 898 million, or a significant increase of 323 percent from the achievement in the previous period in 2022, which was only Rp. 77 million.
The increase in net profit was mainly driven by an increase in sales. The company was recorded as having managed to record revenue from sales of IDR 22 billion, up 41 percent from turnover in the second quarter of the 2022 period of IDR 15.7 billion.
Based on the Company’s financial statements, the partnership network is the largest sales contributor by contributing 79 percent of the Company’s total sales, followed by distributors with 12.5 percent, and the remaining retail network with 11.3 percent.
Along with the increase in sales, NAYZ also reported an increase in cost of goods sold. The second quarter of this segment reached IDR 12.3 billion. This segment increased by 34.4 percent compared to the previous period of IDR 9.18 billion. The biggest increase was obtained from an increase in the use of raw materials of IDR 10.4 billion, up 29% YoY from IDR 8.07 billion in the previous period.
Meanwhile, according to the Company’s business plan, NAYZ is currently preparing a new factory construction project located in Mount Sindur, Bogor Regency. Construction is planned to start this year and is targeted for completion in 2024.
Lutfiel said “Our current target is to increase sales volume in all channels to increase market share, therefore the production capacity of the new factory will increase so that supply is not hampered.”
